Wedding Pictures

One Friday evening me and my sister Jane decided to recreate our mother's wedding pics while she was on a date with my dad.
It was a surprise when they came home.
I hope my daughter does this one day...
Even if it's just to make fun of me.

Organizing + A meme for Wednesday

I have too many clothes- As you can see here. This is just my Summer pile. (And these are just hang-ups, my tee shirts, jeans, and skirts are not included...)
So this past Tuesday I decided that I had some downsizing to do.
And I did do some downsizing! I'm one of those girls who gets connected to every item of clothing she's ever owned, so it wasn't easy.

A meme for this Wednesday,
me.

Angus the Giant Schanuzer

I've already written about my Angie boy a couple times,
but I'm going to again because I'm a total fangirl and I love him more than I should.

This is my dog Angus.
He is a giant schanuzer.

Schanuzers are just the best- and when you mix that with "giant",
it just gets better.
I love love love big dogs- I love love love my big dog.
He's really the best ever.

Here are 5 reasons why Giant Schanuzers are the best:

1. They are really great with families, and are very protective.

2. They are really active animals and need a lot of exercise-which will get lazy butts out the door!

3. Dogs are a man's best friend- And giant's are a man's best friend forever.

4. Look at his beard.

5. Look at his eyes.

How can you not?!?!?!

Snow and Rose

Today I read a darling little chapter book my one of my favorite artists Emily Winfield Martin called,
 "Snow and Rose".

It was such a sweet tale, and I ate it up in just an hour or two.
I grew up reading Emily Winfield Martin's beautifully illustrated picture books and playing with her super cute paper doll primer.
And I remember reading her first chapter book
"Oddfellow's Orphanage" and how I ate that story right up too.
I think the reason why I love her art so much is because I see myself in the little girls she paints and writes about.
In every one of her picture books I can find at least one little girl who looks just like me.

These two young women remind me of me and Jane.
